TARGETS for 2010 (Updated)

Some player statistics of the closest targets BEFORE the season with UPDATES when appropriate.

Some specific Twenty20 Targets:

Michael Carberry passed 1000 T20 runs (for Hants) against Somerset (RB)

Michael Lumb is next in line. He needs 172 for 1000 T20 runs but he’s made a poor start with 0, 1 + 4 in his first three games. He has scored only 80 runs in seven innings since returning from the World Cup

Dimi Mascarenhas needs five wkts to be first to 50 T20 wkts for Hampshire. His overall T20 record (Hants, England IPL etc) is 960 runs and 80 wickets, close to the double – sadly injury looks like preventing him from reaching that target this season.

Michael Lumb needs 172 for 2000 List A runs (Hants)

Jimmy Adams reached 5000 runs in first class cricket v Notts (Rose Bowl).

Nik Pothas passed 7000 fc runs (for Hants) against Somerset at the Rose Bowl. He (or Bates?) needs two first-class stumpings to complete 1000 in Hampshire’s history. By 1 June there had not been one stumping for Hampshire in a first-class match.

Michael Carberry passed 4000 fc runs (for Hants) during his century in Oxford and 7000 in all first-class cricket v Notts (RB)

Sean Ervine  passed  3000 fc runs (for Hants) and 100 f/c wkts – both against Oxford MCCU. He passed 5,000 runs in all F/C cricket v Warwickshire  at Edgbaston

Chris Benham passed 2000 runs in first-class matches v Notts (Trent Bridge)

Dominic Cork passed 9500 runs in all first-class cricket v Yorkshire (RB)

James Tomlinson reached 150 fc wkts in the second innings v Warwickshire

Mascarenhas has an outstanding all-round record for the county with 6000+ fc runs, 400+ fc wkts, 3500+ List A runs, 250+ List A wkts, 500+ T20 runs and 45 (most) T20 wkts
