He is playing for Hampshire at Old Trafford. Brad is now the youngest ever Hampshire player in an inter-county competitive match, beating Alec Kennedy who played first in the County Championship in 1907. Charles Young remains the youngest ever in a first-class match but pre 1895 (Championship)

PS: True Story.  I was walking round the Nursery Ground earlier this season watching a 2nd XI side including Brad Taylor when he came on to bowl. ‘Dimi’ was fielding on the boundary so I asked who he was and Dimi said “no idea, I think his name’s Brad”. Well he knows who he is now as he’s taken a wicket with his third ball and taken 1-1 in his first ever over (good catch by Wheater).
