Ervine Record – but no ‘Carbs’

Tomorrow night, assuming he plays, Sean Ervine will be the first Hampshire player ever to reach 100 competitive T20 appearances (including Caribbean Tournaments)

Alex Hales has been released by England for the final two ODIs but Carberry remains – presumably in reserve – so won’t play tomorrow or v Derbys

You’re right. The Club’s Website has changed its preview from earlier to include him – presumably on the grounds that it’s a quick trip back to Lord’s for Saturday. I imagine he’ll play in place of Gatting – HOWEVER, I guess England will need him as cover for Tuesday so maybe he won’t play v Derbys which I reckon is more important. We shall see.
