Re James Vince, he has now played 4 T20I’s. In each he has batted in the top three. Each time he has scored more than the other three of the top four combined. What more does he have to do to get picked?

Worth remembering this time. England hold the Davis Cup and the Ashes, they’ve just won the Grand Slam and just hours after the cricketers reached the World Cup semi-final, Roy Hodgson enjoyed his best game as England’s manager. I guess we’ll go on to win the World Cup and the European Championships while the rugby team thrashes the Aussies down under. And if Cambridge don’t win the Boat Race, Oxford probably will …
