Hot off the press, the squad photo for this season. It’s raining so for the first time anyone could remember at the new ground the photocall took place indoors – upstairs in the Ageas Suite.

I can tell you the names of all the cricketers and some of the men in tracksuits but not quite all. Here’s one after they disappeared:

(What’s that McLaren doing?)

Then they all got changed for another pic:

I rather liked the white myself …

Good to see the Jimmy Adams is not wearing the medicine boot he had on earlier in the week or was he just feeling the pain !!!

I heard (not from him) that he’s likely to be fit for Headingley but probably not Sunday. He was very cheerful.

Hi Dave. As they say on the National Lottery “Please name them” Any news on Tony Middleton? I used to be able to click on photos on the blog and they would expand but no longer. Probably something to do with my settings of which I know nothing about!!!

I can’t do all the coaching staff but here goes:
B: Wheater, Wood, Weatherley, Topley, McLaren, Crane McManus
M: Taylor, Wheal, Stevenson, Alsop, Edwards
F:Smith, Carberry, Adams, Vince, Ervine, Tomlinson, Dawson
Are you asking why Tony wasn’t in the photo? He was around all day and certainly doing some coaching (with Darren Flint) so not sure …

Looks like you captured a photographer stealing jumpers in the background too šŸ˜

In other news I see Basil Akram scored another ton today – 100 not out v Kent. That gives him a batting average of 260 for the season so far as well as taking eight wickets at just under 20.

Some red faces among our management I wonder?
