Hampshire Cricket History

A Good Day

The cricket today was of the sort that confirms my love of the first-class game. Good bowling, determined and at times inspired batting. Hampshire’s heroes were Carberry and Dawson  and once again the side showed a certain resilience against a fine attack. The forecast suggests maybe just half-a-day tomorrow but let’s hope for more.

Carberry plays the shot off Stirling that brought his century and below he celebrates – in both shots his partner is Dawson with whom he shared a 100-run partnership.

Really hoping Liam makes three figures tomorrow……great support for Carbs & deserves his reward
