In Division One there have been 57 bowlers this season (average 6.3 per side)

75% have been pace bowlers and they have taken 82% of the wickets

25% have been slow bowlers, taking 18%

19 of the quicker bowlers average under 30 including three under 20

Leading ‘spinner’ Adam Lyth averages 21.50 (two wickets). Otherwise they all average over 30 with Tom Alsop next (!!!) on 30.50. Jetan Patel with eight wickets is still the leading slow wicket-taker, whereas 10 pace men have 10 or more wickets – Ball has 19 (Tomlinson 13).
