Wkt v Middx.jpg

Hampshire celebrate a wicket. By 12.15pm on the second morning, there has been one wicket in the past 107 overs and not one in the past 37 …

(Middlesex declared, so three was the final tally)

It’s similar in the Test Match, so James Vince might get another bat …

12.45 and there’s been a wicket now – sadly Carberry. He has one score over 20 all (Championship) season (a century) and not one 50 run opening partnership.

They seem to be rather more regular on the second afternoon. It’s not much fun now, is it? My only consolation is that I’ve been for a walk around Southsea, seen the sea, felt quite warm and missed four wickets!

Well at least you could go for a walk ….at 4.55pm you daren`t sneeze or you`d miss 3 wickets !

Hampshire’s first innings deficit total in first six matches is -925 with an average of -154 and Smith’s gone again in the first over!

No more batting in this game for James Vince BUT Mr Bayliss was singing his praise and he will be in the next test match.as the squad stays the same.
