v Yorks 2015.jpg

I took this photo at Headingley just over a year ago. Lewis McManus was making his debut as wicketkeeper and here is Craig White talking to his bowlers: James Tomlinson, Gareth Berg, Andre Adams and Fidel Edwards. Danny Briggs had been omitted after playing in the first three Championship matches and Jackson Bird was unfit. It’s a salutary thought that we might look at tomorrow’s attack and discover most have disappeared by next August.

Oh my Shackleton, White, Sainsbury (etc) of long ago!

PS: Sean Terry also played in that game above and has just been named in Ireland’s squad for ODIs v the Afghans

A bit obscure this one, but encouraged by Tigger, I should have mentioned that Tomorrow were a late 1960s band that included Steve Howe (guitar) later of Yes and singer Keith West (“Excerpt from a Teenage Opera”). Tomorrow’s best-known song was probably “My White Bicycle”.

I’m wondering what their least known song was!
