As she says, “1969, what a year that was” – the first time that Hampshire were playing limited overs cricket through August and on until 7 September – but in those days still always in white with not a logo in sight (for my friend AR)

It was the year of the Woodstock Festival of course and as Wavy Gravy told the crowd: “We must be Heaven man”.

Meanwhile, here on Southsea Common, another open-air gig to mark the end of the season (or something)
