Among the certainties, DCS Compton is to the right of the lady seated, and actor Kenneth Moore (Reach for the Sky, 39 Steps etc) is to the left of the lady on the ground. It’s part of the Howard Lawson collection and he is 2nd left standing while Jim Bailey (HCCC) is 3rd right standing.

The seated row starts with Billy Griffiths and JJ Warr but that’s it for me. It’s not a benefit match as DCS had his in 1949 and he’s older here. I think it’s a Forty Club game but I can’t match it with any on Cricket Archive. It’s probably late 1950s/early 1960s.
