It has been a bit like a Sci-Fi movie

Thank you for all those Comments. I’m about to read them now. I posted that ‘Hampshire’ question on Thursday morning, ate breakfast and drove to Glastonbury for a stop on the way home which turned into getting in just as Pompey clinched three (away) points late this afternoon.

We have then driven to St Ives, back to Glastonbury and today back home. In Glastonbury we booked into a favourite location, The Chalice Well, which is wifi/computer/mobile etc free. Most interesting, I’ve spent 60 hours in silent mode in what might be described as ‘Hippie Heaven’

Oddly however, cricket kept crossing my path as in this wall decoration in a café in Glastonbury High Street

Here’s a true final story. In all that travelling from Portsmouth to St Ives to Glastonbury to Portsmouth we saw no rain except this afternoon in a five mile stretch on the M27 around the Ageas Bowl – the only rain anywhere for the best part of a week!
