I cannot see anything on the Hampshire website but if like me you can’t wait to see Hampshire’s T20 fixtures for 2017*

They’re here

As I understand it, the Championship fixtures are out tomorrow morning

*I’m very sorry, I didn’t really mean that. Please forgive me.

Indeed no story to accompany the T20 fixtures shown on the fixture page of the website. Shame about that as I was getting excited just before 1800……

Comment by John Cottrell

Honestly I did NOT get excited with the T20 fixture announcement….as I have not attended one at the Rose Bowl.
Went to Beckenham in the very first year as it was a new ground (tick) for me and we got thrashed….

Comment by John Cottrell

The club have tweeted just now that they will be revealed at Midnight. I assume this is for maximum exposure.

Middlesex at Lords makes a change . .

I can’t remember how this works. How come there are 8 teams in our group? Are the other 10 in the North group? I am getting old . . .

Comment by Bob Elliott

According to the ECB website there are 9 teams in each Division Bob. https://www.ecb.co.uk/matches/county/tables

(You will need to scroll down a bit to see).

Comment by James

Sorry that should be group and not division!

Comment by James

Ah yes. I remember. 2 counties we only play once (Surrey H, Gloucs A) – Really odd if T20 makes so much money, why don’t we play everyone twice?

Comment by Bob Elliott

Not in the Championship though. Still M Taylor’s should be nice and warm in mid-September

What’s happened to Friday night is T20 night?

Comment by Paul

Forever Changes?

Comment by pompeypop

They can’t all be on Friday nights…..next year’s competition takes place over a shorter period of time.

You don’t mean 10 overs each Jo?

Better to use the BBC site. The Hampshire site has got several mistakes in the fixtures, unless they’ve been corrected this morning

Comment by Ageas

And the ECB site shows Durham starting with 0 points in CC Div 2 when they are supposed to be starting on -48 points.

Comment by Hedgehog

The fixtures on the web-site seem to match what was in the Telegraph today. The Telegraph has an additional one – Hants v SA ‘A’ – a 4 day game? 8 June (Oh, and a Cardiff MCCU game on April 2 (to blood a few more for the First-Class board! if deemed f/c))

Comment by Bob Elliott

Bob. I think they have now corrected a number of errors which were present when the results first went up

Comment by Ageas

Our useless website still showing errors as they promote the day/night CC match v Somerset but times are showing 1100-1800. Games for CC in September have been 1030 starts for a number of years but we show 1100. I believe there are mistakes that need correcting. Very unprofessional….

Comment by John Cottrell

I think it will be first-class as the first two Uni fixtures are now

Comment by pompeypop

I can’t help thinking the ECB have missed a trick in not scheduling the round of day/night championship games for early April. Doing so would surely have helped their agenda of convincing everyone that championship is watched by no one and therefore irrelevant.

I’m sure their Chairman, Colin Self-Interest, is furious at this failure by his scheduling team.
