Does anyone know when the regulations governing county cricket in 2017 will be published, and whether they are on the ECB website?

Just measured my mid-70s Gray Nicholls Scoop bat, edges 30mm, max depth c 45mm.

The helmet thing is interesting. I thought that as the ECB have now insisted more players wear them, that the 5 run penalty should be varied in Champo playing conditions, as the law wasn’t written with them in mind, and having to endlessly cart them on and off the field will just slow play even further.

From memory, we gave at least 10 away to helmets in our last game – and relegation could have hinged on those runs, which would have been especially unpleasant.
