Fifth Test

Joe Root has admitted that England probably got team selection/balance wrong and  I guess Broad might play in the fifth Test, but, assuming India clinch the series tomorrow, will England try to boost the batting and add an extra spin option (they don’t have a slow-left-armer). In that case could Liam get a Test cap?

PS James Anderson is quoted at the end of day four as saying: “We’re not going to come out of this game with a draw; we want to win this game. We’re going to have to bat extremely well tomorrow.”

Which I guess proves that most/all of us know more about cricket than he does – although I suspect he got the first bit right?

James Anderson has just shown why almost every interview with a player during or immediately before or after a game is totally and utterly pointless.
