I have it on good authority that an obituary for Leo Harrison will appear in tomorrow’s Times and for Jimmy Gray and Vic Cannings in the new Cricketer

Meanwhile, will Liam play for England tomorrow? Today’s Guardian thinks he might, although their view that he ‘might as well’ is hardly a ringing endorsement.

I wonder who was the last Wiltshire-born Test cricketer? Once, with a bit more luck, it might have been David Turner.

David should have played.

I found this one. Don’t know if he was the last one though.

Cedric Ivan James Smith (B. 25 August 1906 in Corsham, Wiltshire) was an English cricketer who played in 5 Tests from 1935 to 1937.
