Small game then Eoin?

It is possible that the decision against Joe Root deprived England of victory today which would have clinched the series. If you follow this Blog regularly, you’ll know that’s not a big deal to me (it’s just another IT20 series) but check this from the BBC:

“Morgan admitted to Sky Sports after Sunday’s game in Nagpur that he would have been ‘fuming’ had the decision against Root come in a big game, such as the World Cup”.

So, it’s good to know from the captain that it’s not a big game, just England v India. Pretty much my view too. Still, as he said last week, it’s a handy shop window for something important like the IPL.

Good to see pride in playing for your country- oh it isn’t!

See it was all the Umpires fault for not giving (and giving wrong) correct decisions …where have we heard that before .. oh football Premier League springs to mind…
Morgan’s comments to media after games is laughable and just playing to the gallery. I thought Morgan said this was the best white ball squad he has played in…but they come up short in a game they should have won…
Perhaps Liam should have been sent in to get the few runs needed…

Absolutely John – and I fancy Liam might have coped just as well/better in that final over. Why were they surprised by slower balls?
