Today’s Cricket Paper has revealed detailed plans of the new eight team T20 proposal and Terry Crump has sent this link (cheers) to a view expressed by Andrew Flintoff

Flintoff speaks a great deal of sense but that won’t make any difference to Colin Self-Interest Graves and his pals.

The same article, by the same Liz Ammon, appeared in the Times on Wednesday. Not sure how that works!

The material change from the Autumn leaks seems to be “the proposal now is that the competition itself will be owned by the 18 first-class counties and the teams will separate legal entities with an independent chairman, but controlled by two to three first-class counties with their chief executives sitting on the management board of the team.”

And then we have “Coaches and support staff from county cricket will be eligible to work in the new competition should their counties be happy to release them.”
