You name ’em, the Blog’s got one somewhere. There’s probably a plumber waiting to do a tap dance.

Changing Rooms

You’ll remember that last year Bob did the book of Hampshire’s first-class pavilions. Well now he’s done the lot! From Aldershot’s Recreation Ground (oops, see Comment!) to Yateley, and over the Solent, Arreton to Wootton (wot no Z?)

This labour of love reveals over 350 grounds all visited and photographed by Bob, each one with a picture and description in hard-back covers:

It is a terrific effort, and I’ll keep you informed of any plans, reviews etc (can anyone out there help?). The official launch is at ‘Close of Play’ – 6pm – a fortnight today at IBM Hursley clubhouse (the bar will be open).

Of course if you read this tomorrow then it’s a fortnight yesterday, if you follow me …

So, to be precise:

Well done Bob – labour of love and something to be very proud about.

Thanks very much, gents. Just in case anyone notices and thinks I missed one, it actually starts with Alderholt . . .
