And actually I did, for a fine lunch and a delightful talk from Vic Marks

Vic’s talk resisted anything controversial about all the changes, but in conversation over lunch he did observe that Colin Graves has now gone too far to pull back. The question is then, whether the counties will have the courage to do to him what happened to Trump on Friday night. I doubt it.

No chance, I’m afraid. Even Sussex have caved in, apparently.

Even worse than that, apparently Cafe Pasticci has closed 😦

Further to Mr Graves, perhaps this is interesting:

My recollection would be that Graves loans are secured…

I am quite sure that whatever happens Mr Graves will not lose out financially.

Incidentally that’s Lord Hawke looking over his shoulder

Well he does comment here https://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2017/mar/26/ecb-ploughs-on-t20-extravaganza-counties

Is there anyone outside of the ECB who thinks this is a good idea! Cricket correspondents appear fearful of the damage it my do. Supporters in the main reject it.

Who is cricket for!

Probably not you and me Ron …
