Hampshire have named the same 13 for tomorrow although I don’t know the names of numbers 12 & 13 (Adams & Holland?)

Edwards, Rossouw, Wheal and Wood are not fit

Meanwhile Steven Davies, once of England, who moved from Surrey to Somerset in the winter has been opening in the one-day cup. He played his third game today and to date has scored 0, 0 and 0.

PS Adam Hose (39) did well again today, getting Somerset to the verge of a fine victory against Kent – Matt Coles did not play for Kent, nor Weatherley, but Rouse did (0*); Danny Briggs 3-53 helped Sussex to victory (particularly delightful to see); Lumb failed (I find it hard to think of him as ex-Hampshire) although Notts won (D/L); Wheater made 14 in the match with the best finish, as the last pair for Essex added 19* to beat Surrey with four balls left.

Hampshire could do with a win tomorrow to keep touch with the top teams – if you’re going, enjoy it (it’s on Sky).
