Generally someone gets some runs but no-one particularly consistently – Alsop one century, one fifty plus 12, 12 and nought; Vince three good fifties, 35 and four; Bailey is getting fewer each innings (63, 52*, 37, 15); Ervine moderately consistent until yesterday with three 30s+ and eight; Dawson hasn’t really got going yet (HS 27, avge 17.25); Adams 58 in two innings; McManus 66 runs, avge 33.0.

The spinners continue to excel: Crane has 11 wickets (avge 25.8, econ 5.8). He has bowled all but one of his allocated overs, while Dawson has bowled a full 50, with eight wickets at an avge. of 25.5, and the best economy rate of 4.1.

Topley didn’t play yesterday; he has eight wickets, avge 29.0, econ 6.6;

Abbott has five wickets from four games avge 39.3, econ, 5.63.

Berg has seven wickets from four games avge. 28.43, econ 5.24

Ervine has bowled 10.3 overs in four separate innings taking 2-58.

Wood (0-30), Holland (2-57) and Edwards (2-57) have each played in one game.
