Bob was kidding, when he said Afridi is Hampshire’s extra T20 star signing.

But he wasn’t

PS Actually that might be unfair. I note from Bob M’s stats that last season, Afridi played in 12 matches, was second highest wicket-taker (nine) and had the lowest economy rate of 6.22. He was sixth in the batting averages, best of 35, average of 17.26. I watched some T20 last year on commentary but won’t this year. If you recall, we finished next-to-last with four wins, eight losses and two abandoned.

Just under sixteen runs and three quarters of a wicket a game.

A real star.
