Two wickets taken for England. After all the negative comments in the papers beforehand that is fantastic! Well done Liam matey. Really well done.

And when did a Hampshire bowler last get two wickets against a premier South African team?

I haven’t checked Chas but probably Malcolm Marshall! I do know (from the Observer) that it was only the second Time this century that six wickets have fallen to two England spinners in a first innings of a home Test Match (Monty six v West Indies in 2007). As you say, well done Liam and let’s hope the rain stays away and he helps bowl England to victory.
