‘Interesting’ Finish!

I do recall James Foster captaining Essex and being penalised for slow overs once at the Ageas Bowl …

An unusual game (ref previous post) in that George Bailey was easily top scorer but finished on the losing side. That Wheater seems a useful player (?)

Six teams below Hampshire, all with a game in hand and just one, two or three points behind. Hampshire with three games left

Currently the top four sides in each division include just two from the first division of the Championship and six from Div Two (which also provided the 50 over Champions)

It turns out all the controversy was about a previous boundary…..either way it didn’t look great & I’ll be really surprised if James Foster doesn’t get some kind of penalty after his behaviour.
