Liam Dawson has been dropped by England (Vince still there) – not that it’s done them much good with New Zealand mounting a pretty good score. Meanwhile it’s been an unhappy day for Mason Crane who was dismissed for just one and has bowled 10 wicketless overs for 42 runs, as the West Indies ‘A’ ninth wicket has more than doubled the total from an unpromising 114-8.

I do hope England haven’t broken Mason Crane.

Vince run out for 10 – he called it, and as Nasser said “lazy running”. He was about six inches out and didn’t bother to dive. The flake, looked promising, but crumbled again. Maybe he’s a bit dozy?

Two interesting days now. Today Stokes is in court and apparently pleading Not Guilty, while the ‘Cricket Paper’ reports that tomorrow we will know the locations of the new T20 Stuff, starting in two years. They implied that the six traditional Test grounds would be named, plus two from Ageas, Cardiff, and Durham, with Bristol and Taunton interested in some kind of a sharing deal.

Stokes to fly to New Zealand tomorrow, he has been excused the hearing on March 13th.
I think your assessment of Vince is spot on.
Barbados 73-2 against Hampshire.

Nice view of the ground in Barbados. Not behind the bowler’s arm as usual, but eye level from the boundary. Just like being there.
