Mrs A is from Gosport, just across the water, so I rather enjoyed a full page feature in the Cricket Paper on their Club. They were once a real power in the region (Div One and a Lord’s Final) and they are rebuilding these days with a considerable number of local boys coming through. Good for them.

(The title? It’s the local nickname for Gosport – something to do with Turkish soldiers, centuries ago, I believe)

PS: Amla better today with 56 – and sadly, more grumpiness in the Kindergarten.
