Peter Siddle bowling in a Beany!

It continues to be an interesting game – very good innings by Abbott and Dawson’s best of the season.

Actually, this one is even better!

Meanwhile here’s Jo, dreaming of Barbados! (no mates Jo?)

Where is all the rain that was forecast? I went to work instead of Cricket on the strength of the forecast!! Anyway, well batted and 4 well earned batting points.

It’s the brightest it’s been through the match

But it’s bloody cold!!

Certainly quiet around “my side” 😊

I know, you would have moved but you were frozen to the seat. Afraid I sneaked into the warm

I never move, creature of habit 🤣

Sadly left before the end as I have a class at the gym………might actually get warm again before bedtime!

Comment on excellent photo of Essex slip fielders by my friend Elizabeth: ‘they have numbers on their backs but where are their horses?.

Comment by Alan Rayment

Lovely. Not sure, but their legs are wide enough apart for the saddles I think and they’ve crouched like jockeys in the National!

I believe the horses have bolted for fear of being the new menu at Beefy’s!

Great “Magnificent Seven (Beanies)” photo!

On Beefy’s, £2.60 water… A Burger is £15, +£1.50 service charge.

At the Oval, in the Alsop Room, London, panoramic pitch view, the four choice Carvery is … £16.50.

It’s an interesting business plan. Have an almost captive audience on hand and then totally alienate any of them that have an ounce of common sense.

I wouldn’t eat there if they paid me twenty quid to consume their burger and water.
