2005: On 13 June, England beat Australia by 100 runs in the first T20 International played in this country and only the second in the world. Kevin Pietersen, then with Hampshire, played for England.

The weather forecast for the Somerset game is not too promising. It should be freezing, commentating at the top of the Pavilion on Thursday but there’s a good chance of rain too. Warmer (& drier) by Sunday?

It was on the website when I looked around 10am this morning

On the club’s website? I can’t see it. On my machine it’s offering my the “highlights” of Hampshire v Surrey – possibly the shortest web-post in history.

Yes Dave, it was definitely there unless I dreamt it and your post about 2001 which is now at the top had been demoted! The post about Colin De Grandhomme appears to have mysteriously disappeared now!

Now that is mysterious Martin. By the time I looked it was 2001 and Surrey. I wonder if the announcement was premature?
