That was just about perfect then?

(Lou Reed?)

Even stayed dry – there again I’ve always said the Bowl is blessed with good weather

Haven’t I?

Blimey! I’m a bit worried about our overall run-rate. It’s 0.666. Doesn’t bode well I fear.

Great win today. Had a great time being back at the Bowl. I could see you in the distance on the balcony Dave! Arrived late so couldn’t say hello but will try again next time.

Everywhere you go, Dave..

I am very sorry I chose not to travel based on the forecast and the weather early this morning. The lower volume of ferries than pre pandemic makes everything more time consuming and awkward. Something I am happy to do but not with the thought of watching rain fall all day. I couldn’t believe there was an uninterrupted day’s play. Oh well! At least I could enjoy the good commentary on my day off. Did note that there was. Dave’s garden and tomato update on there too! Which made me smile!! A good win too, Nick Gubbins has been a good signing I think, and he can bat well too!!!!! Somehow I feel acoss the formats in the last few weeks there is more of a team again rather than a set of individuals. I really enjoyed last Thursday in spite of the result. Hopefully will be back on Sunday and Wednesday too

A little nugget from the Gubbins interview on the app, he isn’t allowed to play on Friday against Middlesex. Will we cope without our new all rounder?!!

Sunshine on a rainy (?) day!

The forecast suggested multiple interruptions…….the reality was a fabulous day!
