Nothing new there though!

No indeed, either nationally or locally

I’m just glad that I subscribe to Sky Sports and can watch live and replays. Good value for money! Really wets the appetite for next season.

Vince, Fuller and Dawson have been picked up in the Pakistan Super League draft. Fuller’s Blast campaign clearly didn’t go unnoticed – that’s t10, Sri Lankan Premier League and PSL he’s got now!

Very much the ‘modern’ (non-international) cricketer!

Any idea why Joseph Eckland is described as “unattached” in the official announcement of the Under 19 touring party? Hampshire have included him with Jack and Kelly in their own announcement. Surely Hampshire want to keep a player of this quality but maybe Eckland wants to leave?

I’ve no idea Ian – sorry. It’s interesting how often over much of this century we’ve had players selected for Under-19s, Lions and the occasional Test/ODI but it’s now approaching 30 years since our last England ‘regular’ Robin Smith.

He is shown as a Hampshire player on the report on our website so hopefully just an error on the official announcement

Surrey v Hants in the One-Day Cup in August is now shown in the fixture list as at Guildford. I guess tickets are likely to be scarce on this small ground.
