ROSE BOWL BATTING RECORD

Durham young player Ben Stokes starred on day three with six wickets, a century and an over against Dawson’s bowling which began with five sixes. Ball six went for just one but this 31 in an over was still a Rose Bowl record. This shot shows ball five

If Hampshire win tomorrow it will be the highest score by them EVER to win a match. They’ve started well.

Parking at the Rose Bowl

Here is the official release from Hampshire Cricket:

Parking Information
The Rose Bowl is currently undertaking an exciting landscaping project to redevelop the car parking areas. The completed project will provide a flatter and more robust surface which will be more reliable for parking during wet weather. However due to the poor winter conditions this work has been delayed, therefore this area will not be available until the middle of the season.

In the interim, we will endeavour to accommodate seasonal car park pass holders onsite using a combination of hard standing facilities and other areas. This will include some parking around the Berm area inside the ground. This is the flat, paved area behind the seats. Seasonal car park pass holders who park on the Berm will not need to show their Membership Card as they enter the ground in their cars, however they will need to show their Membership Cards at special pedestrian entrances within the ground which will be clearly signposted. Please note that these parking spaces are limited and available only on a first come first served basis.

Blue badge holders will be accommodated as far as possible on the Berm and in a new area behind the East Stand. Spaces are available on a first come first served basis.

Other seasonal car park pass holders, Members and the general public who wish to purchase car parking on a match day will be accommodated in the offsite car park across Botley Road from The Rose Bowl. This car park will be clearly signposted.

It is likely that vehicular exit from car parks after play will be slower than usual, for which we apologise in advance.

We appreciate your patience and co-operation.
